Fish on!!!

« on: April 10, 2011, 03:52:27 PM »

Would your bass club or tournament trail like to have a forum all their own? BassRumors wants to give your club just that; a free online forum with a private message network. This will enhance your member’s ability to communicate and share information like never before. If you have a website, why do you need a forum? A forum gives your members the ability to communicate easily with each other, but also with other like minded anglers. Also, your club will  gain new members with free advertising on the forum. All members will have the opportunity to win tackle!

You might wonder why we would give you a free forum. Well our site is relatively new and we want to fill it with great anglers. There will never be any cost to you or any of your members for the forum.
All you have to do is give us your club name, state, and a short description and BassRumors.com will connect your Bass Club with this service totally free. If your club currently has a website, a link can be added to take members directly to their forum. If your club has no website. We hope you will consider BassRumors as your new online home.

Here is what you get!

A forum dedicated to your club
Use the forum as the clubs newsletter. Plan events, discuss fishing tactics, and post tournament results. You can post announcements or general information. Basically anything that you would put in a newsletter can go in your dedicated forum, which cuts down on printing and mailing costs and the time it takes to put it together. If members want they can print this information from the site and store it in their private records.

Create Polls to see what your members want
You can set up polls and have your members vote on what they want. This is very handy when trying to select a date or location for a specific event, or even setting up the next season’s lake schedule. Everyone can vote and even post their opinion.

Instant Message Network
The instant messaging network is private. It allows members to share information without it being made public.

Free Tackle
Not only do your members get a free forum. They will be eligible to participate in our tackle giveaways. We will be giving away the best tackle in bass fishing. If we will not use it, we don't expect you to. The giveaways will range from lures to the best fishing reels on the market.

What do we ask in return for your free forum?

(1) Keep the forums clean and make sure members use common courtesy. One member of your club will be given the ability to edit post.

(2) Invite your club membership to use all aspects of the board!!!! Supply fishing reports and participate in the other threads.

One last thing, the log on procedure requires an email address. BassRumors will not sell or Spam member email addresses. Your email address is held in confidence.
