Fox Reportedly Banned From Elites

fox suspended

Following up on yesterdays article on Kyle Fox, B.A.S.S. has reportedly banned Bassmaster Elite Series angler for the Oneida Lake event and the entire 2013 season after an on-the-water altercation with fellow competitor Chris Zaldain at the Lake Michigan tournament last month. According to sources, Fox will have to re-qualify for the Elites via the Bassmaster Opens if he wishes to return to the circuit, and that can happen no earlier than 2014.

This isn’t the first time an Elite Series angler has been suspended for on-the-water behavior. Kevin Langill was banned during the 2009 season for a violation of sportsmanship standards after an incident with Boyd Duckett at Lake Guntersville and has not fished the circuit since.
