Here is the story of bird bait by Flip In The Bird.  They are makeres of a hollow body topwater bait the mimics a bird.  Be looking for a review on these baits.  My first thought of these baits are that they are top notch the hooks are super sharp, great action with the wings look like a disstressed bird.  Stay tuned for more on Flip In The Bird, as I will be doing more on the water test and reviews.

The Bird Story

My friend Bobby years ago realized the bass he just caught coughed up a little bird and it was still alive. I began thinking, “I should make a bird lure”, and the process began. I started off utilizing the popular Rat Baits and building the lure with bits and pieces from my garage tackle shop, always adjusting and one day “Bam! Holy Shmoli! It all came together and we realized this Bird Lure catches the Big Uns!  Being top water addicts, we really needed a Bass lure that would mimic the many non aquatic species of birds on our small lakes of Watsonville Ca. I am lucky to have these small lakes near my homestead, which affords me a lot of top water fun for testing. My  friend and I  use homemade John boats to fish our small lakes of Watsonville, CA. We promote barbless hooks as our fish are our friends.   Bass lures such as the frog are great, however, why would you use a frog to imitate one of the many non aquatic birds on your lake?

Sam has designed and engineered a bird lure that can be thrown into the deep cover or over nasty slop. It can also be fished in the skinny shades or in open water. It works fast or better yet, “Deadstick it” and let the underwater profile make your fish attack!
